Lately I have been working quite hard on a bondage-related project which got me delving into the finer details of the art. An interesting experience, yet the information overload and the repetitivity of the subject sometimes turned my research into a sort of rope-tinted indistinct blur.
Still, once in a while I stumbled on something so original or beautiful that it earned a special place in my notes. I thought you might enjoy one example, so let me introduce you to one of the most unusual staging of Puccini’s Mme. Butterfly, courtesy of legendary kinbaku artist Osada Steve.
