Several weeks ago, while still in full pre-apocalyptic lockdown, I have been invited to participate in a discussion about sexbots. The Privacy Network organizers also called Maurizio Balistreri, a moral philosophy professor and author of a book about the complicated relationships with pornodroids.
After a somewhat rocky start – especially because these machines are yet long to come, and we patently still have trouble just with making a conference call work – we talked about lots of interesting stuff. Privacy, ethics and sex, of course… but also erotic hackers, normativity, repressed violence, sex work and naughty sharing economy. And giraffes.
